Yesterday we went to the doctor for his first round of shots!! Watching him get those shots was maybe more painful for me than actually being in labor with Asher. He just screamed and had tears in his eyes...it was so sad. But he was a trooper and afterward he was fine. I guess they have such short memories that he had already forgotten about it.
At 2 months Asher:
- weighs 13 lbs 13 oz (95%)
- is 24 1/2" (95%)
- is smiling, cooing and laughing
- plays well in his play place by himself
- holds his head up when on his tummy
- can control his head otherwise
- only wakes up once at night
One of the greatest things for me is the fact that I think we are getting into a daily routine. He wakes up and eats. Then he plays for about 30 minutes while I eat my breakfast and then I put him down for his morning nap. He will usually sleep for about 2 hours or until he gets hungry again. Then he eats, plays and naps. If the weather is nice we go on a walk after lunch. This is mostly for my benefit, but he enjoys his stroller and it makes me feel accomplished. He eats at 10 pm and then he is in bed by 11 pm and I am asleep by 11:30 pm. I am so thankful to have a good baby!!!
